The senior technical project manager will manage large-scale information systems including satellite ground systems. Provide daily supervision and technical direction to staff. Manage and own project deliverables within budget, scope, quality and time requirements. Lead and participate in project teams to implement project deliverables. Will be the primary interface to the customer and/or customer support personnel. Will oversee the development of system architecture and design including software, hardware, communications and interface requirements.
10 years of experience in technical project management.
Must have systems engineering and integration experience with real-time mission critical systems, preferably satellite missions at NOAA and/or NASA.
Experience with large network infrastructure projects is a plus.
Understanding of information assurance issues in compliance with NIST security policies and procedures is a must.
Must have Full software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience, excellent oral and written communications skills, and be highly motivated and detail orientated.
Requires strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to enter the applicable government facility.
Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering. MBA is a plus.
