Responsibilities Join our Information Technology team where you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet our customers’ needs and make it easy for them to do business with us. The Mobile Messaging group is part of the Mobile Innovation Product and Service team. The group is focusing leverage the latest messaging technologies such as Push, SMS and Voice Mail to bring high quality product and IT service that the customer will enjoy. The application portfolio includes My Verizon Mobile Data Widget (iOS and Android), Visual Voice Mail (Android), Actionable Alert Platform. With an energetic and resilient Verizon culture, team is passionate about weaving technologies including open source to build application with superb and original customer experience. The incumbent will develop both client and server software component. And will work with the business analyst team to provide verify and provide feedback to the approach document; create Technical Design Document under the direction of senior team member. Coordinate certain task with external team member such as integration test or production deployment and verification test. Implementation of Android or iOS application on device client, unit test and integration test against the server, work with QA User Experience team to make sure the best customer experience. Implementation J2EE server application, unit test and integration test with other backend system and device client, work with QA to ensure the quality of the application and no negative impact to the production system. Understand and verify the RT (requirement) and overall Application Approach document. Provide feedback and corrections to the RT and Approach Document. Provide feedback and correction to the SIT and UAT test cases. Create Technical Design Document of subcomponent in the application by applying the direction from senior member in the team. Conduct review and collect feedback from internal and external team members. Provide tier - 2 Application Support during system outage or escalated customer ticket solutions.
